Altitude: 7,600 ft | Stay: Guesthouse

Arrive at Lohajung, a small mountain village that serves as the starting point of the trek. Spend the evening settling in, meeting fellow trekkers, and preparing for the days ahead. The quiet surroundings and mountain views offer a gentle introduction to the journey that lies ahead.

Distance: Approx. 6 km | Duration: 4–5 Hours | Altitude: 9,800 ft | Stay: Campsite

The trail gradually climbs through forests of oak and rhododendron before reaching Bekaltal, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by mountain landscapes. During winter, sections of the route are often covered in snow, adding to the experience of the day.

Distance: Approx. 7 km | Duration: 5–6 Hours | Altitude: 11,700 ft | Stay: Campsite

Today’s journey takes you deeper into the mountains as the forests begin to open into wider alpine terrain. The trail offers increasingly expansive views of the surrounding Himalayas before reaching Brahmatal campsite, where the evening is spent amidst snow-covered landscapes and mountain silence.

Distance: Approx. 8 km | Duration: 7–8 Hours | Highest Altitude: 12,250 ft | Stay: Campsite

An early start leads towards the summit and surrounding ridgelines. The climb rewards trekkers with panoramic views of peaks including Trishul and Nanda Ghunti. After spending time at the top, descend back to camp and enjoy the final evening in the mountains.

Distance: Approx. 6 km | Duration: 4–5 Hours

The final day follows the trail back through forests and mountain paths before reaching Lohajung. As the trek comes to an end, the journey leaves behind memories of snowy trails, frozen lakes, and some of the finest winter landscapes in the Himalayas.
