Your journey begins with a scenic drive from New Jalpaiguri to the peaceful village of Sepi. The route passes through tea gardens, winding mountain roads, and small Himalayan settlements before reaching the trek’s starting point. Spend the evening settling into your accommodation and preparing for the adventure ahead.

Distance: 12–13 km | Duration: 7–8 Hours | Altitude: 7,500 ft | Stay: Homestay

The trek begins with a gradual climb through forest trails and beautiful mountain landscapes towards Ramam, where you’ll stop for lunch. Continue through peaceful surroundings before reaching Samanden, a picturesque Himalayan village known for its open meadows and spectacular mountain scenery.

Distance: 15 km | Duration: 8–9 Hours | Altitude: 11,500 ft | Stay: Trekker’s Hut / Homestay

Today’s trail passes through the beautiful village of Gorkhey before gradually ascending towards Phalut. As you gain altitude, the forests give way to wide mountain ridgelines that offer magnificent views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

Walk along the spectacular Singalila Ridge while enjoying uninterrupted views of the Himalayas throughout the day. The trail gently descends before reaching Thokum, offering another peaceful evening surrounded by mountain landscapes.

Distance: 8 km | Duration: 4–5 Hours | Altitude: 11,500 ft | Stay: Trekker’s Hut / Campsite

Today’s comparatively shorter trek allows you to fully appreciate the beauty of the surrounding ridgelines and forests. Continue through open mountain landscapes before arriving at Aal for an overnight stay.

Distance: 15 km | Duration: 8–9 Hours | Highest Altitude: 11,930 ft | Stay: Homestay

Begin the day by trekking to Sandakphu, the highest point of the Singalila Ridge and one of the finest viewpoints in the Eastern Himalayas. After spending time enjoying the breathtaking panorama, descend through forests and mountain trails towards Timburey for the night’s stay.

Distance: 3 km Trek + Drive | Duration: 1–2 Hours Trek + Drive | Altitude: 6,300 ft

The final day begins with a short trek to the riverside village of Srikhola before driving back to New Jalpaiguri. As you leave the mountains behind, you’ll carry with you unforgettable memories of one of the Eastern Himalayas’ most rewarding trekking experiences.
